The 9" Raal Lazy Ribbon is a super detailed and super efficient ribbon tweeter. The high efficiency makes this a perfect choice as a tweeter or super tweeter for horn systems or other high efficiency systems. Ribbon tweeters are a dead short to the amplifier, so you need to use a passive crossover on the tweeter. If you intend to use an electronic crossover, you still need to use a large capacitor in series with the tweeter, in this case perhaps a 30mfd. The recommended frequency range is 3kHz to 50kHz with an sensitivity of 96dB. The tweeter has different soldering points in order to adjust the tweeter output level.
As with all tweeters, the lower you cross it over and the shallower the crossover slope, the less power it handles. Please take this into consideration when using this or any tweeter.
